The Philadelphia Flyers visit the New Jersey Devils in a Metropolitan NHL tilt on Saturday.

The slumping Philadelphia Flyers finally ended an eight game losing streak with a 2-1 win against visiting Dallas on Thursday. Jamie Benn scored the lone goal for Dallas in the third and Anton Khudobin gave up two goals on 22 shots to absorb the loss.

Travis Konecny and James van Riemsdyk found the back of the net in the second period for the Flyers. Riemsdyk also posted an assist. Philadelphia received 37 saves from Carter Hart who improved to 3-4-1. 

The New Jersey Devils look to get back in the win column after a 4-2 to visiting Toronto on Thursday. Blake Coleman and Brian Boyle supplied second period markers for New Jersey while Keith Kinkaid gave up three goals on 42 shots to get the loss.

The Maple Leafs received a pair of goals from John Tavares with Ron Hainsey and Mitch Marner also reaching the scoring column. Tavares and Marner added helpers and Michael Hutchinson picked up the win for Toronto with 27 stops.
