Brett Seney: Brett Seney impresses with physical play – Rotoworld

Brett Seney has earned a reputation for being very physical despite his 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame.
Seney produces offensively, but in his 12-game AHL trail this season, he also showed off how active he is without the puck. “He’s assertive in everything he does. Even though he’s small, he plays with might,” AHL Binghamton Devils coach Rick Kowalsky said. “That’s what we were all really impressed with. He gets under guys skin, but he backs it up by being physical. I don’t want to use the term rat, because you don’t see that too much anymore, and he’s not a yappy guy. He just does it with the way he plays.” Seney had three goals, eight points, and 16 penalty minutes in his 12 AHL games in 2017-18. He inked a two-year, entry-level contract that will start with the 2018-19 campaign. May. 31 – 9:38 am et
