PK Subban: PK Subban shrugs off disallowed goal

P.K. Subban had an assist in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final to give him 11 points in 17 playoff contests.
Subban also had a goal taken away after a successful coach’s challenge by Pittsburgh determined that the play was offside. “I watched the replay just on the Jumbotron. I thought for sure it was going to be a good goal,” he said. “I didn’t get the explanation. I’m not really sure. But we’re sadly mistaken if we don’t think that changes or rules that are brought into the game aren’t there to help the game be better. … Obviously we would have loved that goal to have counted, but it didn’t.” The Predators lost Game 1 5-3, but feel they played well. Subban liked the way the team battled back after a troubling start and he is confident that they will be ready to play Predators’ hockey in Game 2 on Wednesday night. May. 31 – 10:32 am et
