Ryan Johansen: Preds lose Ryan Johansen for rest of playoffs

Ryan Johansen is done for the playoffs after suffering a left thigh injury during Thursday’s game.
That’s a massive blow to the Predators’ chances of beating the Anaheim Ducks and winning the Stanley Cup. Johansen is a key part of their offense and has been effective in the playoffs with three goals and 13 points in 14 games. The only other Predators forwards with at least 10 points in the postseason are Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson, so the Predators will be counting on their secondary scorers as well as their offensive defensemen to find the back of the net. If there’s any silver lining, it’s that Johansen is expected to be fine in two-to-three months, so this injury shouldn’t impact him in 2017-18. May. 19 – 5:41 pm et
