Shalunov’s agent said on Monday they will likely decide next month to either sign with the Blackhawks or remain in the AHL. Shalunov was a 2011 fourth round pick of the Blackhawks.

On the Florida Panthers …

Harvey Fialkov: Panthers assistant GM Eric Joyce said that Roberto Luongo will be their starting goaltender next year.
