NHL power rankings: Now that the regular season is rolling again, NHL fans are as competitive as ever.

Even though the playoffs are quite a ways away, NHL fans are already hoping to see their teams ranking high among their conferences.

While the Tampa Bay Lightning is dominating the Eastern Conference, the Nashville Predators have maintained their first place position in the West for what seems to be the entire season so far.

Although these two teams have the highest number of points in each of their respective conferences, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the most dynamic.

Sure, the Preds’ have 27 points so far this season, with a pretty impressive roster to back up this statistic.

The playoffs are months away, and as we all know, anything could happen.

When you breakdown each of the teams in the league both offensively and defensively, and look at what they’re doing to win games and overcome their match-ups. That’s when you’re able to see who makes it into the NHL power ranking.
