The Finnish professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL – Teuvo Teravainen, the top prospect, will make his NHL debut over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night at the United Center.
Teravainen will play center, coach Joel Quenneville told, and the side is excited to get its first look at the 19-year-old – who was a first-round pick (No. 18) in the 2012 NHL Draft.
Quenneville told he told Teravainen to “play his game, trust his instincts.” Sources added.
Teravainen just completed a solid season for Jokerit in the Finnish Liiga, putting up 44 points in 49 matches (9 goals, 35 assists). He also helped lead Finland to the gold medal in the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship.
