Calgary Flames rookie forward Sean Monahan had injured hairline fracture in his foot, where he is likely to miss upcoming two games.
19-year-old Sean Monahan has been suffering from foot fracture and he is going to miss couple of next games. Meanwhile, defenseman Dennis Wideman has sidelined at least six to eight weeks, where he had sustained with broken hand. Calgary Flames announced that both the players have been sidelined for next games, where Sean Monahan and Dennis Wideman placed on injured reserve.
Calgary Flames have given a statement that Sean Monahan’s is going to miss this week and Wideman has broke his left hand on Wednesday night’s with a 3-2 loss to Chicago Blackhawks. He is undergo surgery to his left hand says general manager Jay Feaster. Calgary Flames holds with an 8-12-4 plays at Anaheim on Friday and Los Angeles on Sunday.
Sean Monahan has made nine goals and six assists and also second place in scoring among NHL rookies behind Tomas Hertl of San Jose Sharks. Monahan also placed in second on the Flames in points. Monahan has made ninth goal of the season against Blackhawks, but his foot continued to be painful.
