Pittsburgh Penguins forward Chuck Kobasew has suffered lower back injury and he is expecting to miss at least three or more weeks to return back into the team.
Pittsburgh Penguins Coach Dan Bylsma insists that Chuck Kobasew was injured in the first period of the game against Caroline Hurricanes on Monday night, where he needs to work hard over his fitness to return back into the team. Pittsburgh Penguins has defeated Carolina Hurricanes with a 3-1 on Monday night clash.
31-year-old Chuck Kobasew has signed with Pittsburgh Penguins as a free agent in the NHL offseason and he had two goals in 12 games for the Penguins so far. Penguins also lost their defenseman Rob Scuderi with an ankle injury, where he needs to require surgery.
Pittsburgh Penguins have already struggling without forward players James Neal, Beau Bennett and goaltender Tomas Vokoun. Vokoun is not going to come back into the team until at least January, where he should recover from a blood clot. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh forward Brandon Sutter had not take part in training camp on Tuesday, where he is doubtful to play against Boston Bruins on Wednesday night in Penguins.
