Saku Koivu return back home

Anaheim Ducks center Saku Koivu has return back to home for further tests, where he suffered a hard hit during Sunday’s game at Columbus.

Anaheim Ducks has recalled center Richard Rakell from the American Hockey League on Monday, while goalie Viktor Fasth also come back into the team for treatment on his lower-body injury. Anaheim Koivu, who was knocked unconscious on a hit by Columbus’ Brandon Dubinsky and evicted from Anaheim Ducks victory with a 4-3 against Columbus Blue Jackets. Koivu is going to undergo some tested and he needs to retain full fitness before allowing him to return back into the Anaheim Ducks. 

Victor Fasth, who was not playing since 16th Oct, Danish rookie goalie Frederik Andersen has clinches the first three NHL decisions as Jonas Hiller’s backup for the team. 20-year-old Rakell has played for four games with Anaheim Ducks on last season.

Anaheim Ducks will take on Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night 29th October and both the teams have not faced each other since Flyers winning overtime with a 43 on 21st October, 2011. Anaheim Ducks will be playing without forward Saku Koivu, while two forwards players are coming back for the Tuesday at Philadelphia.
