Thomas signed 1 year contract with Panthers

Timothy Thomas is one of the American professional ice hockey goaltender. He had won two Vezina Trophies when a chance was give by Boston. He also played in 2010 Vancouver Olympics and won the Stanley Cup in 2011 for the US team. He is an amazing player who had won the Conn Smythe Award.

The 39 years old Timothy Thomas has signed a contract with the Florida Panthers for about one year, which is worth of about $3.75 million if he reaches all his bonuses.

Dale Tallon the general manager of the Florida Panthers said that, Thomas will be on the ice with Florida for practice. In part of eight NHL seasons, Thomas has made about 2.48 goals against an average and he also stopped about 92 percent of the shots he has faced.

In 2009 and 2011 he had won the Vezina Trophy, he also led the Bruins to the 2011 Stanley Cup.
