The Edmonton Oilers signs Linus Omark to one-year contract

Linus Omark has signed one-year contract with the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday. However, the financial terms were not yet disclosed by the team.

Omark played 48 games for Zug franchise, scored 69 points with 17 goals. He got the skills and speed to play an interesting role in the team.

He was the 97th pick for Oilers in 2007 NHL Draft. During the 2010-12 seasons, he played for the Oilers in 65 games scored 8 goals and 22 assists.

Omark, 26 also played 46 games for Oilers’ AHL affiliate in Oklahoma City and scored 47 points with 20 goals.

The 5-ffot, 10-inch and 180-pounds, Omark had put decent numbers on the board with 30 points for Oilers in the past, but when compared to the top line players of Oilers, he need to prove a lot.
