Latvian professional ice hockey forward Ronalds Kenins signed on a concealed agreement with Vancouver Canucks.
The 22 year-old Kennis used play in NLA for Zurich Lions. He completed the 2010 WJIH championship with four points (2g-2a) in six games. And in 2011 he participated as the member of Latvia men’s national ice hockey team at the IIHF World Championship
In the last season he played for Zurich Lions and recorded 17 points in 45 games by posting three goals and 14 assists.
He played 92 NLA games and recoreded 35 points (9g-26a). Also, appeared in 27 playoff games and with four goals and eight assists he had 16 points.
“I think I’m a power forward, I go to the net, I shoot the puck, I do the dirty stuff; that’s how I play.” Kennis told post agreement with the Canucks website.
He stated that he is young and learning the game and play from his elders by watchng their moves on the rink. “I’m still a young guy,” Kenins said. “I look the older guys and how to play and I try to be like them.”
