Tyler Cuma and Minnesota Wilds agreed to the terms and re-signed on a one-year, two-way contract on Tuesday.
Cuma began his career in 2006-07 with Ottawa 67 of OHL. He recorded 19 points in the debut season. He was drafted in 2008 NHL Entry Draft by Minnesota Wilds.
In the last season he played Houston Aeros of American Hockey League and finished the season with 12 points (1g-11a) in 42 games.
Cuma made his NHL debut in 2011-12 season with Wilds and played one game, but did not scored any point.
Wilds are ready with their blueliner spots – Ryan Suter, Jonas Brodin, Keith Ballard, Marco Scandella, Clayton Stoner and Jared Spurgeon and Matt Dumba will also vie for a spot in the training camp. Jonathan Blum, who was a latest wilds acquisition, is also competing for the spot.
