Riley Nash Signed Two-Year, Two-Way Contract With the Carolina Hurricanes

Restricted free agent Riley Nash signed a two-year, two-way contract with The Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.  The 24 years old played 32 games in the last season recorded 9 points by posting 4 goals and 5 assists.

Reportedly the Nash will get paid $550,000 on the NHL level or $135,000 on the AHL level, with a guarantee of $150,000 in 2013-14.

He was selected in first round (21st overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft by the Edmonton Oilers. He was acquired by Hurricanes in 2010.

He played 37 NHL games with Hurricanes and tallied 10 points (4g- 6a). Nash appeared in 188 AHL games with the Checkers and recorded 89 points (35g – 54a).
