Top 3 NHL Picks 2013 – Nathan MacKinnon, Aleksander Barkov, and Jonathan Drouin

Finally the winner is Nathan MacKinnon, overcoming everyone’s predictions MacKinnon stood top in the list and he is the No.1 pick.

Seth Jones, who was actually predicted player to be the No.1 pick in the 2013 NHL draft however Colorado Avalanche wanted MacKinnon for his amazing offensive skills and consistency.

The Canadian scored 32 goals, 43 assists for Halifax of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey league and averaged 1.70 points per game.

Florida Panthers surprised the world by picking Aleksander Barkov as the second Pick in the draft.

Barkov, who is very strong and plays at center. He will move along with the puck and no chance of puck slip from his stick. Played 53 games and scored 48 points. During the IIHF World Junior Championship he was the standout for his country Finland.

Third Pick was Jonathan Drouin by Tampa Bay Lightning. Drouin is very strong skater and played along with MacKinnon.  His amazing stick handling and overall hockey skills made him the 3 players taken in the draft.

Drouin is very talented player and he played 49 games and tallied 105 points including 41 goals.
